【FAQ0117】What kind of a value is the output shaft rotation speed described in the catalog? It is not equivalent to the motor rated rotation speed divided by the reduction ratio.

The output shaft rotation speed described in the catalog is the synchronous rotation speed

(rotation speed of the rotating magnetic field) divided by the nominal reduction ratio.

Therefore, it is a nominal rotation speed and different from the actual rotation speed.

It is described as a guideline for selection of the reduction ratio.

For details, please see the following.

<Reference example>

For the type "G3LM-22-5-T040"

*"Rated rotation speed" is the rotation speed with the load factor of 100%.

  If the load factor is smaller than 100%, the rotation speed will be a little faster.
